Bruna Blanquier Lessa-Bastos

She holds a BA in Sociology and Politics from PUC-RJ, an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and an MA in Development Studies with a focus on Social Policy from the International Institute of Social Sciences – Erasmus University where she graduated magna cum laude.

Postgraduate in Public Management from Universidade Candido Mendes and Specialization in Design for Sustainability from Gaia Education. With 17 years of professional experience in the public and private sectors, as well as in the third sector and in international organizations.

For the last 7 years he has lived in Angola and the Netherlands where he has been involved in volunteering, consulting and research projects. More recently, he moved to the United Arab Emirates where he continues to work remotely on his projects in Brazil and Europe. His expertise encompasses project planning, implementation and management in the context of development and corporate social responsibility, as well as institutional relations and stakeholder engagement.

Since 2018, he has been researching the area of social innovation/entrepreneurship and scaling as a way to bring good development solutions to different contexts. His topics of interest are: combating poverty, social justice, sustainability.
