Graduated in Biological Sciences, Master in Economic Management of the Environment, PhD in Sustainable Development from the University of Brasília (UnB) and Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral. He has experience in the analysis of public environmental policies that control the use of natural resources in the Brazilian Amazon. He has extensive experience working with states in the Amazon and multistakeholder groups involving the private sector. He conceived, raised funds and coordinated several projects in the states of the Amazon over the last 15 years. He has published more than 30 technical and scientific studies, with emphasis on the journal Science and the journal PNAS. She currently works as Director of Programs and Projects at the JBS Fund for the Amazon.
